It's hard to believe it's been a year since my last post! Our family has grown with the birth of our second daughter Kathryn in October, so I figured I would try and get caught up. Evelyn's 2nd birthday was in August so we did an Elmo themed birthday party in primary colors.
I designed the birthday banner and made personalized picture frames to match the red, blue and yellow Elmo theme. Thanks to Shop Sweet Lulu for providing the balloons, tissue poms and favor bags!
We sent our guests home with a goodie bag filled with candy and Elmo cookies. It took me a while to get the icing consistency right and we may have lost a few in the process, but I have to give props to my darling husband for helping me finish them in the wee hours of the morning!
No goodie bag is complete without a custom designed sticker to thank our guests for coming. And last but not least, here is the birthday girl wearing her personalized birthday shirt from OMG2CUTE on Etsy.

Bumble Bee Birthday
I'm excited to share some pictures of my second official party! This time it was for my daughter's partner in crime at day care, Hannah or Miss Bee as her mommy likes to call her.
Since this was just a small family gathering, Hannah's mommy decided on bumble bee cake pops with custom designed favor tags and a birthday banner. It was a bee-utiful day and Miss Bee looked adorable in her outfit from Gymboree. Here is the birthday girl getting ready to dig into her cupcake!
Here are some pictures of the bee pops..which were a little more difficult to make than I anticipated! However, I learned some very valuable tips for the next time!!
And finally, here is the birthday banner that I made for little Miss Bee!
All in all, it was a great day. Hannah and Evelyn had so much fun chasing each other around and giving each other lots of hugs and kisses! Until next time....
Barnyard Bash
I'm very excited to share my debut designs with you! Here are some pictures from my daughter's first birthday party. I decided to do a barnyard theme featuring one of her favorite characters: Chica from the Sunny Side Up show. Here is the main display featuring a ribbon board of pictures of Evelyn throughout the year!
And here's the birthday girl flaunting her custom made shirt from SewSeeminglySassy. Too cute!!
The dessert table was the focus of the room, featuring my homemade Chica cake pops, haystacks and compost! The compost was just a simple recipe for dirt that called for jello pudding, cool whip and Oreo cookies!
Here is close up of the Chica pops, complete with my custom designed favor tags!
I also ordered up a baker's dozen of red velvet cupcakes from Cupcake Heaven to display the toppers!
All said and done, it was a complete joy creating the prints and pops for my daughter's party!! It was so rewarding to see the finished product! I truly enjoy what I do and I look forward to having the opportunity to design the perfect prints and/or pops for you!!
